Smash Bro is a 2D sidescrolling game about smashing as many things as possible to achieve high scores. This was made by a team of three at a 48 over the course of 48 hours.
Lead Programmer Duties
I programmed a version of the game for keyboard and a separate limbit arm version. I wrote all player functionality, spawn management and enemy AI. I implemented all animations using Unity Mecanim and art assets.
I learned how to manage scope properly during this game along with working on a small team. Dividing up jobs and efficient asset integration was a big lesson for me. Although the process was smooth I feel it has informed my approach working with others in a team setting.
